The Bronx Photowalk is a community for photographers to meetup on a monthly basis to capture the set location.  Our goal is to highlight the Bronx and show exactly how beautiful the Bronx really is. The first Saturday of every month is dedicated for the Bronx, thereafter we schedule another day for any other borough or city, like Philly or Cali and soon Puerto Rico.

Our monthly meetups have different themes of photography, from street, nature, macro, plane spotting, lifestyle and portraits, and film only day.

During our photowalks we take the opportunity to share photography skills and knowledge with each other.  We talk about future networking on a one to one project.

Our photographers really enjoy when we gather for a Lightroom Meetup where we learn about post processing editing skills with the Lightroom software.  In doing so it helps photographers enjoy the process of editing, as well as, getting creative with all the options they have into creating an artistic image. They also enjoy our Studio Meetups. They get the opportunity to photoshoot with models and learn lighting and how to pose the models.

At the end of the summer we have an Annual End of Summer Picnic where those that attend our photowalks in the current year are invited to attend.  We had brand sponsors like Peak Design, ThinkTank, Blackrapid, Pola Pro, Brooklyn Film Camera, and Robert Distributors. Raffle tickets are given where photographers can win some great prizes from sponsors.  It’s a wonderful day of gathering with music, food, and games.

The Bronx Photowalk group listens to our photographers when they suggest an idea and we encourage that they do so.
